My students are Oglala Lakota youth who come from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and they are a very cheerful and bright bunch of students. Our school is rich in culture and school spirit but lacking in funding. and is located in the poorest county in the nation. While my students come from a rich culture of their own, they enjoy learning about the world and other cultures that exist within it.
