My school has 850 students in grades 6 through 8. Students come from a range of diverse backgrounds. 26% of our students are English Language Learners. 41% of our students are economically disadvantaged. Students with learning disabilities make up 16% of our population and students speak 14 different languages. Regardless of their background or situation, students are curious and strive to succeed. In my classes, I work with 185 of these students. They work hard, encourage each other, and grow in many ways every day. Students like to interact with and use technology.
