I teach in a high poverty area in Boston. The students in my Jamaica Plain class are rich in diversity and speak over five languages. This group of enthusiastic learners are excited about being here. Coming to the front of the class is a wonderful opportunity for these children to ask questions or share their ideas. It is through these shared experiences that children learn from each other and explore new learning.

About my class
