I have seven schools and each is very different. Some of my schools have a vast music inventory; some have little to few instruments/teacher resources. My general and special education students are amazing and range in age from kindergarten to fifth grade. Each school is unique. Within them I serve kids from many different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds (low to high) but I am particularly focussing on one school where 90.8% qualify for Free/Discounted Lunch. One thing my students have in common at all my schools is their joyful faces sparkle as they sing. They are filled with excitement coming to music class and are especially excited when they get to play musical instruments. My students range from beginning singers to more advanced and as they progress, they just may take your breath away as you hear them sing beautiful tones and watch them play instruments and create music.
