I have 2 classes, morning and afternoon, with 15 students in each session. Each class is an amazing group of 4 and 5 year olds! Children come to school from all different backgrounds and a variety of experiences. I have students who attended day care and/or 3 year old preschool settings and students for whom this is their first experience with a group of peers. I have students who are English language learners and students receiving special education services. Most importantly, all my students are developing a love for school! All students have made progress so far this year, whether it be progress in early academics or with classroom behavior and following routines and expectations. They are the youngest students in a large Pre K-6th grade elementary school. Sometimes it seems strange to see such little people walking through the big hallways, but they are already learning school expectations. Pre K is a year to build a foundation for learning and I am happy to be part of it!
