These materials will be used in our classroom during our bi-weekly game time so students can have a variety of games to choose from when they play with their classmates. We are also trying to increase our read aloud library to touch on a variety of needs and interests like learning strategies to use when you feel anxiety and connecting to our science unit on dinosaurs. Through playing these games, students are working on skills that involve communication, teamwork, perseverance, cooperation, and more! Teachers come into the room and play with students too - there are usually 8 different games going on in my room and it is wonderful to see smiles on students faces and see them working together!
