Teaching in the time of Covid-19 has thrown us so many new challenges, and art is no exception. I teach k-2 art in Brunswick,Maine, with a diverse population of learners.  Our supplies budget has been severely affected, and, in order to provide an equitable, high-quality art education to my 500+ young students, I'd like to provide them with a take-home art kit.  This would contain a simple sketchbook and basic materials like pencils, glue, and scissors. Not only would these kits keep them safer during distance and in-person learning; they would be an outlet and safe place to record their ideas and creativity. Thank you for considering us!
