I work as a Special Education math teacher for 7th and 8th students. All of my students need to interact with technology to improve their comprehension, it has proven to be the best way for my students to understand and put to into practice some of the math skills they have learned through different web based programs. As a special education math teacher, my students are on very different educational levels. Some are working almost at grade level, while others are still mastering the basics like multiplication and division facts. My students all learn in different ways but all are eager to learn and explore all the possibilities with mathematics. None of them like paper/pencil/book work, they learn much better and actually retain the information better when they are learning in a way that keeps their interest. I want my students to be excited about learning and with the CHROMEBOOKS they can access On-line learning resources that can make learning more fun.
