My classes are made up of special education students who struggle daily with one or more of the following, learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, Bi-polar/mood disorders, social and emotional disorders. These students face challenges in all aspects of their lives. They try hard to understand new material presented often 3-5 grade levels below where they should be functioning. For these students traditional methods of teaching have not been successful and they required thinking outside of the textbooks to access their education.
