By using STEM projects and hands-on learning, my students will be more engaged. Five and six-year-olds crave and desperately need to connect to their learning through touch. The STEM projects I have asked for will allow more students to feel successful. With the kits, the child who may struggle to read or write, or sit and listen to a book has the chance to thrive when building and designing with his/her hands. This is about giving students what they need to be successful, forming deeper connections to the learning, being completely engaged, and giving all students the best chance to meet their highest potential.
