Our students are bright, hopeful, and at a disadvantage. Most of them live in poverty and are from single parent households. Sixty percent of our students speak Spanish as their primary language at home. For these reasons, seventy five percent of our students are reading below level. Our school is like a home to our kids and we hope to instill in them a love of reading which will open up so many doors for their future.
