Our Deaf and Hard-of Hearing (DHH) program serves students whose primary disability is DHH in which our students wear cochlear implants, behind the ear hearing aids, and/or a bone anchored hearing aid. Some of our students have secondary disabilities such as Autism, Goldenhar Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and Dandy-Walker Syndrome. Our program serves 3 districts and is the DHH hub in our area. We are a Total Communication program where we sign and talk at the same time to promote listening and spoken language development while using sign language as a bridge for communication and access to academic language. Our program ranges from preschool through 5th grade with specialized academic instruction and general education classes.
