My students would be continuously motivated to READ if our classroom library had a Flex-Space Comfy Couch, Big Beanbag seats, and Revolving Bookstand! These items would inspire my students to complete their work assignments so they could find a book on the Revolving Bookstand and enjoy a differentiated space in the classroom. When students are allowed to choose a comfortable place to read it gives them control over their environment. This helps empower students in making good choices by knowing they can choose where they feel most successful. When students struggle with reading it can be difficult to motivate them to want to read. By having control to choose a comfortable spot in the classroom, they will be more likely to grow accademically and succeed.
