In a Bilingual classroom, having access to technology like Chromebooks will allow students to apply their English language vocabulary skills using technology. During our Daily 5 literacy activities, students will utilize technology in a variety of ways. Students will be able to publish essays during Work on Writing, play word games as part of Word Work, listen to audio books or record their own Reader's Theater. Having this kind of technology readily available will allow for authentic 21st century language experiences. Students will be able to post videos to our class digital portfolio and add to our classroom blog. Students use technology for testing and structured activities in school. The aim of this project is to broaden the ways that students use technology and allow them to gain confidence in using their blossoming English skills.
