We are a Title One school in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a large Spanish speaking population. Most of our students come from impoverished neighborhoods, with limited access to technology and the Internet. Many of our students are just learning the English language and rely heavily on technology to help them learn. We are fortunate to be receiving a Chromebook station for our classroom later this year. This will allow my students the opportunity to use technology to help learn the skills they need in 4th grade and strengthen their 21st Century skills.
