Our school started with families in the community upset at the lack of schooling their children were getting in the local schools. One hundred families came together to create a school that was based on valuing the individual student and preparing them for college success. Twelve years later our community is a tight knit one. The students and families are hard working and dedicated to collaborating with teachers, administrators and counselors for the ultimate success of the student. The students are part of a low income community and they really need to work hard to get to college. The obstacles they have to overcome are many but hopefully with the help of the entire community our mission is to prepare the students for college success.

About my class
