Teaching 8th grade science has its challenges when students are not exposed to science as a class until 6th grade and the subject may not be the most hands-on or engaging. Students may already be turned off leaving it up to the 8th grade science teachers to turn them around and build their curiosity back up. The students are at a critical point as they will be entering high school, considering colleges and careers.

About my class
