My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy-I read on the carpet to them, they complete work there, and they read independently! Students will be able to select up to 10 books each week that interest them to put in their personal book bins. This will help them enjoy the independent reading time. These personal book bins will also help limit the spread of COVID since each student will have their own book bin to bring back to their desk. At the end of each week, I will sanitize all books and book bins. My students have always shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences.
