My students come from different backgrounds. Some have had many life experiences with science by going to museums and participating in STEM activities, while other students have not been exposed to very much science. Junior high is a big jump and most 7th grade students have already decided if they either enjoy or detest the thought of having science every day. All students are interested in hands-on learning and my students generally love science after a few weeks in to the school year.
