My school is a Title 1 school located in a very small town in central Florida. 90% of the students that attend here are on free or reduced price lunch. We have a large Hispanic population so language barriers are often prevalent. Music is a universal language, which reveals why my students love my class so much. Many of my students have difficult home lives and find peace and safety at school. A large amount of students eat meals only while they are at school. They have limited background knowledge of technology and need more exposure if they are going to be successful students in this day and age. The students have a love of learning and thirst for new knowledge.
