My students lack financial and educational resources. They are from Wilmington, a city in Delaware. My school is 100% poverty and every student receives free lunch. I have students that are homeless, growing up with one parent or no parents. I have students that do not have anyone to believe in them. I make it my mission to be that person for my students. When they are in school, they have an intense desire to be challenged everyday, something they lack once they leave school!
