We are a Title 1 school, close to a military base. We also have a free and reduced lunch program. There are 24 students in our classroom. In fourth grade, there is a lot of content to be taught. The more engaged the students are, the better they will learn. Technology is a great way to engage students and help them grow. Unfortunately, our school does not have a computer class. However, each day we have small group Reading and Math. During these rotations, the students get a short amount of time on the computer. This is the students' favorite part of the rotation. Even if they are doing a practice test for Math or improving their spelling through different activities, the students are constantly engaged and learning. The best part is that they are having fun while learning, so it takes away the feeling of doing work. The students do not want to have to sit and listen to the teacher talk all day. They want to take control in their learning and take pride in their improvements
