My students need whiteboards to practice their computation and to demonstrate their knowledge. The students will have an opportunity to demonstrate their understanding, justify their findings, and present to their peers. The boards will also allow me to view and correct misunderstandings on the spot. It will allow mulltiple students to be tutored, guided, and mentored through the mathematical problem solving at the same time. This gives students a greater sense of efficacy and pride in their math computation and skills. It also eliminates students from hiding behind their desks and forces them to stretch their knowledge and meet their goals.
