We are a public magnet school of math, science and technology. My school is high poverty, a Title 1 school. We house pre-k through fifth grade. We serve students from many different countries, in essence, we have a diverse population. We are a school of choice, which makes it more interesting, our students can live anywhere in the county. We offer math, science and technology labs. Students attend one lab daily. Each grade level works with the lab teachers to ensure that our lessons compliment one another. We offer a core plus curriculum and have expectations for our students which are relative. We work at a higher pace than most of the elementary schools in our district.
