Welcome to first grade! I have 21 exciting and active first grade students in my class. My students attend a rural, high poverty school. Roughly half of my students come from families of low socioeconomic status. Despite my students' backgrounds, we have lots of hard work to do in first grade! With this active group, I need an engaging learning environment so that my students are set up to be successful and attentive learners!
