Just like some of us, my students tend to be a visual learners. They need to stay focused and organized in order to be successful in their classroom. The mail sorter will help them keep track of their papers as well as hold themselves responsible, visually. I am requesting for Time and the book shelf because I have noticed that my students enjoy picking out books to read if they are on display. The students also very much enjoy reading Time articles that they can connect to. The counting strips will help strengthen their number sense by allowing them to visualize the quantity as we count on. The students will be so grateful to have these items in their classroom they can manipulate and interact with to become better readers, writers, and mathematicians! These items will grant the students to experience the collaborative and interactive learning of the new era.
