We may be a small school, but we have big ideas! Our project will benefit all grade levels and will have a positive impact on each student. Our school-wide grant is a set of coding robots to use with our school Chromebooks. The coding robots would enhance learning with ALL learners and their technology use of our Chromebooks. My students use technology every day, and we are ready to advance our skills by applying learning to coding robots. Having these coding robots in my class would be a huge help and would help advance their skills. We hope to teach numerous students 21st-century skills and then provide them with opportunities to apply these skills. We want students to have positive experiences with technology and not always associate “technology” with testing. Moreover, many families in our attendance area cannot afford the luxuries of internet service or computers. We would like to give our students access to computers, coding, programs, internet, research and technology for all ten months of the school year.
