I am the Grade 8 Sheltered English Immersion teacher at a low income school. 78% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. 22% are English Language Learners. They are extremely motivated to improve their English and become acquainted with other students. 8th grade is a tough grade for any students but its extremely difficult for ELL students to leave their home and loved ones and travel across the world to country where they don't speak the language.

About my class
