Children love to explore using their tactile senses! With the items requested I will be able to set up sensory exploration stations for children to make tactile discoveries. These stations will be safe and and easy for little ones to use. The materials that I have chosen are: Silly Shape mats, PlayDough Stampers, Alphabet Beads, Magic Water Marbles, and Tactile Alphabet Match-Ups. Theses materials help strengthen hand muscles, eye-hand coordination, and fine motor skills. Sensory items will encourage a lot of hands-on exploration in each student. Children can't resist playing with sensory materials and when they are playing, they are learning! As children explore, they build tactile awareness, vocabulary, memory and communication skills. The following items I have requested will help the children to build early reading skills and phonemic awareness. The items requested are: Letter/Sound Match-Ups, Language 3D Lotto, and Telling Time Teaching Clock. These items will give children daily practice with language and math concepts and help them build skills together. With these items, the children will be able to build everything from phonological awareness to vocabulary skills and boost their skills across the curriculum! Thank you for your support!
