I teach in inner city Cleveland and we have so many needs. These students are just trying to survive from day to day, which makes learning most difficult. Students come in tired and hungry and I have the responsibility to not only care for their personal needs, but also address their educational needs. With the help of donors like you, I hope to develop a love of learning that will help my students rise above their surroundings one day. My main project now is to help create a lovely learning environment where they are safe and welcome. I want my students to be hungry for education so that they can make good choices and stay off the streets.

About my class
