My students LOVE to learn by doing! I work in a school district that is at the forefront of change. There is a huge emphasis on communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity (The 4 C's). As a second grade teacher, I plan every lesson with those 4 components in mind. Many of my students come to me each morning "ready to learn" and are excited to begin their day. I am fortunate to be able to mold young minds and I look for opportunities to teach our district's world class targets in more innovative and engaging ways.
