We are currently working with very old keyboards that are falling apart. Many are broken and I am unable to facilitate lessons using them. The keyboards have been a very accessible way for all of the grades to begin reading music. This is the instrument which introduces the students to performance and sets a foundation for furthering our rock bands which happen primarily in the fourth and fifth grades. I am currently using an excellent curriculum for the keyboards called "Music and the Brain". This program has boosted the self-esteem and technical skills of our aspiring musicians. Please help!
