The items (Stress relief balls, fidget toys, social-emotional support games, yoga cards for stress and anxiety reduction) that I am requesting are all centered to teach and build social skills, emotional regulation, positive behaviors and growth mindset during group counseling and classroom guidance lessons using these requested items. As they play these games, children will discover how to recognize feelings in themselves and in others, validate others and to cope with them in socially appropriate ways. Working in a district that is new to supporting the counseling field, I am starting my counseling program from scratch. These 2 school does not have any counseling supplies or games for students. This project will reach more than 1200 students.
