Most of our kids will not receive high school diplomas, but continue to work on academics in the classroom. They are 5-8th grade and may attend 1-2 regular education classes per day, spending 2-3 periods in small classrooms working on reading and functional math. They have started to take on more responsibilities in the school as they have been in my program, now helping with office sorting in the office, recycling collection on Fridays, and moving and sorting cafeteria supplies. This "Project" would pay for the next 3 months of this program, currently supported but not funded by our large urban school district.

About my class
