I teach seventh grade English at Meridian Junior High School. There are 126 students that come to my class each day. Students at MJHS come from Stillman Valley, Davis Junction and Monroe Center; an area diverse in socio-economic standing. Our community continually seeks out avenues to increase thoughtful learning in the classroom. As seventh-graders, my students are active and deserve the opportunities that foster greater learning while not forcing them to sit for six plus hours at a time.
