Over 90% of our students qualified for free or reduced lunch last year. Many students enter kindergarten without having attended preschool. We have a high ESL population. This means many of my students are poor and disadvantaged. They live in stress. To get them to a place where they can learn, I must first help them deal with the stress of their lives. This project incorporates exciting new information about the brain to induce a calmer mind state so information can take root.We can't end poverty, but we can eliminate many of it's affects.

About my class
