Many of my students come from low income families. Students will be able to work together in small groups and whole groups as well as independently to build and code robots. By providing beginning robotics and coding to my students, I will be able to increase their knowledge of the world around them, encourage creativity and out-of-the-box thinking, and allow problem solving skills to increase. Students will also learn to cooperate in small and whole group settings and communicate with one another to problem solve. Each of these skills will begin to prepare my first graders to enter the workforce as adults.

About my class
