The majority of students at my elementary school come from low-income housing. Due to this, many of the kindergarten students have limitations on toys and opportunities to be creative through playtime. Also, many of these students lack the foundational skills necessary for Kindergarten. It is important for me to provide engaging activities during this time so I can focus working with small groups or individual students on academic skills.

About my class
