My name is Melissa Blume and this is my second year teaching at Slate Hill! I love being a part of the Worthington family. Slate Hill is a title one school serving a diverse population with a high percentage of low-income students. Everyone I have met in Worthington tells me what a special place Slate is and raves about the strong character of students and the caring community that surrounds this school. I hope to be able to use donors choose to make my classroom an environment where students feel safe, find joy in learning, and grow into kind people with big dreams.
