"It's better to be an original than a copy". Each day I try to bring out the uniqueness in each of my students. Whether it's sports, art, literature, oral communication, or music...you will shine. I am fortunate to have four high functioning autistic students into regular education room this year. These students have so much to offer to our future. Amazing insight, vocabulary and higher level thinking is what you'll see when you interact with these particular students. Our school is known for it's welcoming environment. Because our students see this from adults daily, they are able to carry on that tradition. Our students see no disabilities, no language barriers, no color. We accept diversity and because of that, are often recognized.
