These students come from low economic backgrounds. Their parents have multiple children usually under the age of 10. The entire school is a Title 1 program that gets extra resources from the district but not enough. Every student at this school receives a free lunch and breakfast every day. Our school is in inner city community, close to downtown Los Angeles. The students get to see the cities sky scrappers from our second floor, and get to dream of the jobs they'll one day have in one of those buildings.
