My classroom is in great need of a new printer and ink. We love learning about math and science especially using our hands. With COVID safety measures using manipulatives has become a challenge. This printer will be used to print manipulative for each student to keep at their seats. This new printer will benefit all students in my classroom. It will liven my classroom and my student's learning which we all need now that we are transitioning back into the classroom. I will also be able to print out individual pictures for their projects. All students feel a great deal of satisfaction when they see their work in a published format. The number line kit will be a great resource that students can also keep at their desks. They can use these number lines for addition and subtraction problems. In math we learn many different ways to add and subtract, having hands-on materials for them to use is essential in their learning. At Haskew Elementary we love the outdoors. We have an outdoor garden unlike any other. Our students are very interested in experimenting with nature. In science, we focus a lot on soil and shores. The science kit will be a great way for students to watch first hand the process of a plant growing from seed to plant. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will help to get resources for science and math.
