My students are from every walk of life, however as a whole, our school is a Title 1 school, so all students receive free breakfast and lunch. The students often find solace in the normalcy that school can provide, and they are motivated to get to school however they can. They love to learn and benefit from as hands-on, engaging, learning experiences. The students have all had some hardship in some way, and being able to provide them a stable, interactive and engaging learning environment is one of our schools goals. The students in my classroom have varying backgrounds, and abilities, but they all strive to do their best with what they have each day. For many of them it is a challenge to make it to school daily, but they somehow make it and try their best to be PRESENT everyday, so that they can learn to their best abilities.
