I teach 4th and 5th grade students in an extended resource center-based program at a semi-rural, Title I school. Even though my students come from a variety of backgrounds and locations across our city, they all come to my classroom to receive individualized, small group instruction. Academically, my students fall anywhere from being on-grade level with certain skills to up to four grade levels below. Despite their learning challenges, they express a desire to learn and grow daily. They are hard-working, creative students who deserve the best opportunities to learn.

About my class
