Fifty of my students are second language learners. The other half are native English speakers who are learning their core curriculum in Spanish. The students are partnered by Native Spanish and English. They participate in think, pair, share activities throughout their day. The kids are excited about their learning. Our school has received a school of distinction award for the high expectations we have and success of our students.
