I have 20 students from mixed socio-economic backgrounds. We are a rural, title one school, and have a high level of students in poverty as well as students who are considered homeless. While our school is small, it is enormous in character, depth, and ties. Family is a word you hear often in our school. We are a family and care deeply for one another.
