In a typical week, 55 Latino students ages 4 to 14 visit my classroom to learn academic language and content tailored to their specific grade and proficiency levels. Since we are in a very low income urban area, we do not have access to all the resources and materials each one of these students needs. For this reason, I am constantly scrambling to print online books and create my own materials to help students practice their listening, writing, reading, and speaking skills at various levels. Unfortunately, after putting in countless hours on evenings and weekends to create these materials, the printer at our school is either broken or doesn't produce pictures or visuals with clarity.
