I am the math teacher for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) team for my grade level. At least 67% of my students are first or second-generation Americans, some of them have been in the U.S. for only a few weeks! The school itself is about 42% Latino, 45% African-American and 13% other. Living in North Carolina, we have one of the most diverse groups in our district.

About my class
