These materials will allow students to work independently throughout the day using flexible seating opportunities. They will be primarily used during independent learning time and for students who need it during instructional time. The materials will allow for movement during learning time for students who may need it. Students will have choice in how they learn. During reading time, students will be able to sit on the rug or use alternative seating methods to increase focus through sensory input. Students will develop more independence and confidence as they use flexible seating alternatives. I am excited to see the progress they will make with these seats.
