Information literacy helps build a strong foundation for students to becomes lifelong learners. I recently shifted my career path from teaching high school biology to teaching sixth grade science. I acquired a new-to-me bookshelf for my classroom library and need to fill it with quality science books for my students. We will use these materials in the remote learning setting as read aloud books and resources and students will used these materials when they return to in-person instruction. Please help me fill my bookshelves with quality science literature that will engage and inspire my sixth graders. I want to inspire my students to become lifelong readers and problem solvers and to always stay curious and ask great questions. Thank you for your consideration!
